Discovering Uncle Terry’s Patio: A Summer Hotspot
This week, I had the absolute pleasure of being invited to the soft opening of Uncle Terry’s Patio at the Delta. Let me tell you, this is going to be one of the trendiest

spots of the summer! Nestled against the beautiful backdrop of the inner harbour, right off the Songhees Walkway, the patio offers a perfect blend of scenic beauty and vibrant atmosphere.
Uncle Terry’s Patio will be open on Fridays throughout July and August from 1 PM to 8 PM. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with a lively setting filled with sunshine, delicious food, and the delightful company of numerous adorable dogs. It’s truly a pet lover’s paradise, with a special dog menu where $1 from each item goes to the @bcspca.
Here are some of the highlights you can look forward to:
Live Music Every Friday: Enjoy the sounds of local artists as you relax and unwind.
Dog-Friendly Atmosphere: Bring your furry friends along to enjoy their own special menu.
Delicious House-Made Dishes: Savour a variety of tasty dishes and local beverages.
Games and Fun for Everyone: From lawn games to interactive activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

So who is Uncle Terry?
He is Delta’s Banquet Chef, who has been keeping it fresh for over a decade. The staff there cherish him ( very apparent by how they talk about him). From what I heard and read about him, he is the epitome of a Victoria Chef, he has his own urban garden, rides his bike rain or shine, and forages for mushrooms. Uncle Terry is a force that sources local products to make sure his dishes are full of community flavours. When you check out Uncle Terry’s Patio be sure to ask a server about him, you won’t regret it!
We had an absolute blast, soaking up the sun, tasting the incredible food, and making new furry friends. If you’re looking for a fantastic place to spend your Fridays this summer, Uncle Terry’s Patio is the place to be!
Make sure to mark your calendars and experience this delightful spot for yourself. You won’t want to miss out on the fun and vibrant atmosphere that Uncle Terry’s Patio has to offer.
WHERE: 100 Harbour Rd. or odd the Songhees Walkway before the Johnson Street Bridge.
