One of Victoria’s most anticipated nights out is returning to the Crystal Garden this fall!

Art of the Cocktail is back on October 24, 2026, bringing together incredible cocktails, delicious bites, talented mixologists, and plenty of glamour for one unforgettable evening in downtown Victoria.

An important fundraiser for the Victoria Film Festival, Art of the Cocktail has become a staple of Victoria’s social calendar, featuring more than 40 local and national vendors pouring creative cocktails and serving up delicious food throughout the night.

Midnight at the Grand Hotel

This year’s theme is Midnight at the Grand Hotel, transporting guests to Europe in the late 1930s, a world where diplomats and movie stars rub shoulders, everyone dresses for the occasion, and the cocktails have never been better.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the theme and dress up for the evening. Think old-world glamour, elegant evening wear, vintage-inspired looks, and a little cinematic drama.

And yes, the Best Dressed Competition is back! The winner will receive four tickets to the Victoria Film Festival’s Opening Gala in February.

Between cocktails, there will also be plenty of opportunities to pose for event photographers, snap a few selfies, and take in the atmosphere of the historic Crystal Garden.

With more than 40 vendors taking part, there will be plenty to sip and sample throughout the evening.

Expect everything from timeless cocktail classics to inventive new creations dreamed up by talented mixologists, alongside delicious bites from participating vendors.

Make a Weekend of It

The indulgence doesn’t end when Art of the Cocktail wraps up.

The following day, October 25, Crystal Garden will transform into a chocolate lover’s dream for Chocolate: A Tasting Event.

Now entering its fourth year, the Victoria Film Festival fundraiser brings together some of Western Canada’s top chocolatiers for an afternoon of samples, treats, and seriously good chocolate.

Cocktails one night and chocolate the next? Sounds like a pretty great Victoria weekend to us.
