Dumpling Drop is one of those spots that’s just fun; bold flavours, casual energy, and one of those places where you accidentally order way more than you planned (no regrets).
During happy hour, you can find $12 Beer + Dumplings combo.

Brass Monkey Taproom is a go-to for craft beer lovers, with a rotating tap list that keeps things interesting. Their Monday happy hour includes $6 beers, burnt ends ( drool), frickles, shafts, garlic parm fry bread and SO MUCH MORE!

🌊 Saxe Point Pub
🕒 3PM–5:30PM
This is your classic West Coast pub moment.
Saxe Point Pub is relaxed, welcoming, and ideal for an easy after-work hang. Their happy hour often includes deals on house beers, wine, and classic appies. Bonus: they are beside the library and if you know me, you know cheap beers and good books are one of my fave combos

A little nostalgic, a little underrated… but honestly? It hits.
Old Spaghetti Factory’s happy hour is perfect if you’re looking for something casual and budget-friendly.
In my humble opinion this is one of the best happy hour spots in town right now with items on their happy hour including including Draft Beer, Wines, Bar Well Highballs.
Bam Bam Shrimp, Chicken Tenders, Chicken Wings, Crispy Mozzarella Triangles, Parmesan Sweet Potato Fries and so much more

🍷 Île Sauvage
🕒 2PM–4PM (Thurs–Sat) + All Day Sunday
If you’re even slightly into sour beers or wild ales… this is your spot 👀🍻
Île Sauvage (aka “Wild Island”) is doing some seriously beautiful, fermentation-forward brewing right here on Vancouver Island. Think Belgian-inspired wild ales, tart and complex sours, and small-batch creations featuring local fruit and techniques like Brett and Kveik.
This is the kind of brewery that’s perfect for those mid-day hangs that casually turn into evening hangs… you come for one, and suddenly you’re still there hours later 😏
And honestly, a big part of that is the team. The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely personable, and always down to guide you through the lineup—whether you’re deep into wild fermentation or just starting to explore.
Their happy hour is the perfect entry point, with select pours that let you try a few styles without committing to a full flight (though don’t be surprised if you end up there anyway).

Bangers is all about smashburgers and now juicy thicc burgs. Their happy hour includes single smash bugers ( dine-in only)
