Running from 12 PM to 6 PM, this free, all-ages outdoor festival celebrates the creativity, diversity, and community spirit that make Vic West such a special neighbourhood. Whether you’re coming for the live music, the food vendors, the artisan market, or simply to spend a day in the park with friends and family, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
One of the festival’s most popular attractions is returning once again: the Vic West Fest Dog Show! Registration is now open for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. This free, family-friendly event welcomes kids, teens, and adults to show off their furry best friends for a chance to win prizes, snap adorable photos, and celebrate everything we love about dogs.
Throughout the afternoon, attendees can enjoy live performances from local musicians, interactive community programming, arts and crafts, puppetry, games, and activities designed for all ages. Families can spend time in the dedicated kids’ zone, while adults can browse the artisan market featuring handcrafted goods from local creators and entrepreneurs.

Whether you’re stopping by for lunch, a sweet treat, or a refreshing drink, Vic West Fest offers a fantastic opportunity to support local food businesses while enjoying one of Victoria’s favourite community festivals.
The event takes place rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather and bring along blankets or lawn chairs to make yourself comfortable in the park. Festival organizers are also encouraging attendees to bring their own cups and cutlery to help reduce waste and support the event’s sustainability efforts.
Getting there? Consider walking, cycling, taking transit, or even paddling to the festival. Aryze’s free Bike Valet, operated by Capital Bike, will be available on-site. With more than 2,000 attendees expected, public parking will not be available at the festival grounds.
