Atmosphere 

Boomtown is one of the chillest joints in downtown Victoria. They’ve got a massive three-level patio that is both in the shade and sun. Boomtown is a place to be yourself. No dress code drama here! Just roll up as you are, and they won’t bat an eye. As long as you’re chill, you’re all good!

Inside is so clean and bright, you’d think you’ve stepped onto a Pinterest dream board or something. We’ve been to Boomtown a few times, and the music’s been a bit unpredictable. Sometimes, they’ve got it playing, and it’s at just the right level—perfect for chatting it up with your buds. But other times, crickets! No tunes at all- we will figure out the music situation and update it when we do.

Menu

Boomtown’s tagline is Beer Garden Burritos, but you don’t have to stick to those though. They offer up a variety of things. They have a great appetizer game— loaded tots, nachos, 950 Yates dip, and a whole bunch more. They have different food specials throughout the week and have a great weekday Happy Hour (M-F 3:30-5:30 PM) on both food and drinks. They source their ingredients from a lot of local farms and vendors. Boomtown also serves up breakfast burritos ( or bowls) daily til 2 PM or takeout til 11:30 AM.

For drinks, they have a pretty extensive drink menu with local brews, non-local brews, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. They often throw in some awesome drink specials.

Service 

Boomtown’s staff is all about being super chill and easygoing. You’ll find them incredibly knowledgeable about the food and drinks they serve. They have full table service inside and outside.

Uniqueness

Boomtown stands out from other places because of its one-of-a-kind atmosphere and vibe. It’s just so chill and inviting, you can’t help but feel at ease there. And let’s not forget about their massive dog-friendly patio—we should mention in the winter, they’ve got you covered with a large tent over the patio, making it a year-round hangout spot.  They’ve got a bunch of awesome photo opportunities scattered around, including the famous orange bathroom that’s become a must-visit spot for the ‘gram!
