Savour Sidney Is Bringing 19 Days of Culinary Celebration to the Saanich Peninsula
Sidney’s coastal charm is about to be paired with something even more irresistible: 19 days of food, drink, and community connection.
From March 13–31, 2026, Savour Sidney will transform this seaside town into a walkable celebration of local flavour, spotlighting the restaurants, cafés, bakeries, beverage makers, and producers that make the Saanich Peninsula one of Vancouver Island’s most underrated culinary destinations.
At its heart, Savour Sidney is about exploration. It’s about finally booking that dinner reservation you’ve been meaning to make. It’s about discovering a new favourite café. It’s about tasting thoughtfully curated menus and limited-time features that showcase the creativity of local chefs and makers.
For 19 days, participating businesses will roll out special offerings, collaborations, and curated experiences designed to encourage both locals and visitors to dine with intention and to celebrate the people behind the plates.
A Gala to Kick It All Off
Before the tasting officially begins, Savour Sidney launches with a high-energy evening designed to bring the entire community together.
On March 12, 2026, the Savour Sidney Gala Launch Party takes over the Shaw Centre for the Salish Sea for a night of tastings, music, and connection. The Gala will feature bites and pours from participating restaurants and beverage partners, alongside live entertainment and a curated silent auction.
It’s more than just an opening night celebration it’s a gathering of the hospitality community, food lovers, and supporters of local business under one roof.
Adding even more meaning to the evening, a portion of Gala proceeds will support the Vancouver Island Crisis Society, reinforcing Savour Sidney’s commitment to giving back while celebrating local excellence.
